Renault's sports division – Renault Sports wraps off their new sports car – R.S. 01 today. The vehicle will compete in 2015 World Series by Renault in a new championship called Renaultsport Trophy.

The low slung, futuristic body is carved out of composite materials, while it sits on a carbon-fiber monocoque construction, making the sports car to weigh less than 1,100kgs. The R.S 01 features front lower splitter that cuts the air and channels it outward through the extractors installed behind the front wheels. On the other hand, the huge spoiler along with the deliberately made diffusers make sure that it hugs the ground tightly.
