Tata Motors is all-set to launch the facelift version of their flagship MPV Tata Aria, by second half of this month. The company has been doing many test runs of facelift Aria, and is now finally ready to have a go in the Indian car market. Aria was first launched in 2010, and since then this is for the first time it has undergone revamp process. Tata had already showcased the upgraded Aria at 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Apart from this, the company may also come up with another MUV alongwith the launch of refreshed Aria.
The updated Aria is expected to get an automatic version, and if media reports are to be believed, the MPV is likely to get powered by 2.2-litre VARICOR turbo diesel engine. However, the engine is tuned to offer better power output of 148bhp, which has certainly been raised by 10bhp as compared to the existing output.
The MPV has extensively received changes to both of its interiors as well as exteriors. On the outside, the facelift Aria features redesigned smoked headlamps, restyled bumper and grille. While, the top-of-the-line variant will feature 17-inch alloys and climate control. In the features list, the crossover MPV gets 4x4 Adapterra, which offers required torque output, new Harman music system with 6 speakers, navigation system, full leather upholstery and others.
