Tata Motors slashes prices of its current lineup.

The homegrown manufacturer Tata Motors has announced price cut on its current line-up. The price cut from the company is in accordance with the recently reduced excise duty. Giving full benefit to the customers, the company now offers a reduction in the price bracket of Rs 7,000 to Rs 45,000. 

World's most affordable hatch, Tata Nano now becomes more economical as the car now starts with a price of Rs 1.41 lakh showing a reduction of Rs 8,000. Similarly, Indigo eV2 is offered with a reduction of Rs 15,000 making the ex showroom price Rs 3.85 lakh, while the Indigo eCS comes with a price tag of Rs 4.82 lakh with a deduction of Rs 17,000 from the previous rates. Moreover, the sedan Manza enjoys a price cut of Rs 20,000. The base variant is now priced at Rs 5.85 lakh while the top of the line comes in at Rs 8.07 lakh.

In the SUV segment, the govt has reduced the excise duty from 30% to 24%, thereby giving big relief to SUV lovers. Tata is now offering Safari with a reduced price of Rs 35,000 while Safari Storme's prices are slashed by Rs 45,000. 

All the rates mentioned are ex-showroom.
