Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced a recall for its Corolla Altis Diesel sedan. It is the part of the company's commitment towards the Customer First Philosophy, which have started a recall campaign in the month of May. The campaign is for Corolla Altis diesel developed between 3rd August 2012 and 14th February 2013.

Based on the customer feedback, a potential aberration on the left or right side of the driveshaft has been observed in a few cases. The Japanese auto maker has decided to proactively inspect and repair/replace the drive shafts. This is a precautionary measure to ensure customer satisfaction.

The above services will be available to the buyers free of cost at the nearest Toyota Dealership, and the whole process of rectification may consume around 2 hours. Before going to the dealerships, it is advised to get a prior appointment to the dealerships, which further enables the service network to serve the customers better. The company has also provided a customer care centre toll free number - 1800-425-0001 for any query or assistance.
