Fiat has launched the Punto Evo, this has replaced the existing Grande Punto, with new stylish exterior and interior. It is being offered with four engine options, two in petrol and the other couple in diesel. The interiors of the Punto have been revived, however there is no change in the features that the Punto offers.
The Audi A3 on the other hand is the first new luxury compact sedan for the Indian car market. The A3 is offered with a 1.8-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine. The Mercedes-Benz CLA is here too, but it is in the AMG avatar. The regular CLA will make to India sometime next year.
Fiat Punto Evo Launched at Rs 4.55 lakh
Fiat India has launched the much-anticipated 2014 refreshed Punto, now known as Punto Evo at INR 4.55 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Starting from Delhi today, Fiat will launch Punto Evo across 15 different Indian cities in 15 days, with the major launch scheduled in Mumbai on August 8, 2014. Fiat Punto Petrol model is priced bewteen Rs 4.55 to 6.65 lakh while the diesel model is priced in the range of Rs 5.27 lakh to Rs 7.19 lakh.

Land Rover Discovery Sport prototypes have done 750k test miles
Land Rover had showcased the new Discovery Sport that will replace the existing Freelander 2. At the moment the vehicle has completed 75,000,000 miles of testing. The vehicle has been tested to water depths of 600m and to -36° in North America, to 42° in the deserts of Dubai. A total of 9,767 tests were carried out on the vehicle. The car was tested to inclines of 40 degrees and declines of 45 degrees.

Bugatti is celebrating the conclusion of its "Les Légendes de Bugatti" edition. In 2013, Bugatti launched the exclusive model series during the Monterey Car Week at the well-known and attended automotive events "The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering" and "Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance" with the first Legend. In 2014, the crowning conclusion will be held at the same location with the world première of the company's sixth Legend. It honors Ettore Bugatti, founder and patron of the brand, and is based on the historical model Type 41 Royale. As with the five previous Legends, only three of the final Legends model will be produced. Bugatti is presenting all six Bugatti Legends together for the first and only time.

Ford launches the next-gen Figo based sedan in Brazil; India to get it aswell!
Ford has launched the next generation Figo/KA based sedan KA+ in Brazil (remember the concept they showcased at the Auto Expo in February). The Indian launch is slated early next year and the compact sedan will be produced at Ford India's upcoming plant in Sanand, Gujarat along with the next-gen Figo. When launched, it will compete with Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Tata Zest. The vehicle prices in Brazil starts from R$ 37,890 (just over Rs 10 lakh) but in India it will be priced competitively inline with its rivals.
