Abbott India standalone net profit rises 18.59% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 16.06% to Rs 674.30 crore

Net profit of Abbott India rose 18.59% to Rs 59.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 49.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 16.06% to Rs 674.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 580.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.40% to Rs 259.63 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 228.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 15.31% to Rs 2580.23 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2237.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
