Acknit Industries net profit declines 13.33% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 42.45% to Rs 37.85 crore

Net profit of Acknit Industries declined 13.33% to Rs 0.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 42.45% to Rs 37.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 26.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 60.78% to Rs 2.46 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 38.69% to Rs 123.93 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 89.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
