Adani Power standalone net profit declines 14.41% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 45.60% to Rs 3625.97 crore

Net profit of Adani Power declined 14.41% to Rs 357.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 418.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 45.60% to Rs 3625.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2490.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 5.62 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 68.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 19.52% to Rs 12685.59 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 10614.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
