Ahluwalia Contracts (India) added 3.80% to Rs 314.50 after the company said it bagged new projects worth of Rs 521.71 crore.
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) said it secured new order of Rs 208 crore for construction of NICL work at corporate office building, Rajarhat, Kolkata. It bagged another new order of Rs 161 crore for construction of Parivahan Parisar at Phulwarisarif Patna (Bihar) (engineering procurement and construction basis). It also secured other new orders of Rs 152.71 crore for construction of Bluegrass residences - residential development for Sagitarius Ecospaces LLP at Kalyani Nagar, Pune.
The total order inflow during the FY2019-20 stands at Rs 1449.30 crore, the company said.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 56 points or 0.14% to 40,184.63.
On the BSE, 1,394 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 263 shares in the past two weeks. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 344.95 and an intraday low of Rs 314.20 so far during the day.
