Ajanta Pharma consolidated net profit rises 43.39% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 15.29% to Rs 419.20 crore

Net profit of Ajanta Pharma rose 43.39% to Rs 106.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 74.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 15.29% to Rs 419.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 363.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 29.55% to Rs 401.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 309.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 17.92% to Rs 1705.03 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1445.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
