AksharChem (India) net profit declines 31.31% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 31.78% to Rs 36.74 crore

Net profit of AksharChem (India) declined 31.31% to Rs 1.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 31.78% to Rs 36.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 27.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 428.76% to Rs 20.04 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3.79 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 51.17% to Rs 144.87 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 95.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
