Alembic Pharmaceuticals standalone net profit rises 32.69% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 19.19% to Rs 587.35 crore

Net profit of Alembic Pharmaceuticals rose 32.69% to Rs 89.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 67.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 19.19% to Rs 587.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 492.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 143.58% to Rs 698.13 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 286.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 48.25% to Rs 2988.19 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2015.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
