ALSTOM India standalone net profit declines 61.91% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 54.17% to Rs 369.53 crore

Net profit of ALSTOM India declined 61.91% to Rs 27.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 71.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 54.17% to Rs 369.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 806.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 78.77 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 177.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 18.78% to Rs 1717.75 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2114.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
