Amara Raja Batteries net profit rises 34.31% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 10.50% to Rs 885.14 crore

Net profit of Amara Raja Batteries rose 34.31% to Rs 80.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 59.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 10.50% to Rs 885.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 801.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 28.16% to Rs 367.44 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 286.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 16.15% to Rs 3436.66 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2958.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
