Amara Raja Batteries standalone net profit rises 27.75% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 20.51% to Rs 1066.70 crore

Net profit of Amara Raja Batteries rose 27.75% to Rs 102.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 80.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 20.51% to Rs 1066.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 885.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.82% to Rs 410.86 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 367.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 22.54% to Rs 4211.33 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 3436.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
