Amara Raja Batteries standalone net profit rises 6.20% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 9.65% to Rs 1169.32 crore

Net profit of Amara Raja Batteries rose 6.20% to Rs 108.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 102.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.65% to Rs 1169.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1066.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 19.13% to Rs 489.44 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 410.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.39% to Rs 4689.27 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4209.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
