Andhra Sugars net profit rises 236.28% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 5.37% to Rs 159.46 crore

Net profit of Andhra Sugars rose 236.28% to Rs 22.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 6.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 5.37% to Rs 159.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 168.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 27.13% to Rs 54.54 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 74.85 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 11.63% to Rs 706.60 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 799.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
