Apar Industries surged 7.6% to Rs 461.50 at 15:15 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 7.35 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 441.80 per share at 14:34 IST on BSE today, 16 November 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 132.35 points or 0.52% to 25,742.88
On BSE, so far 7.54 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 8,672 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 474 and a low of Rs 422.20 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 320.30 on 9 June 2015. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 508 on 19 August 2015.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 September 2015, rising 2.02% compared with 4.6% fall in the Sensex. The scrip also outperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 1.22% as against Sensex's 7.04% decline.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 38.50 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
