APL Apollo Tubes consolidated net profit rises 308.62% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 51.04% to Rs 1177.64 crore

Net profit of APL Apollo Tubes rose 308.62% to Rs 27.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 51.04% to Rs 1177.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 779.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 57.77% to Rs 100.58 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 63.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 34.42% to Rs 4209.59 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3131.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
