APL Apollo Tubes net profit rises 50.00% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 26.32% to Rs 558.13 crore

Net profit of APL Apollo Tubes rose 50.00% to Rs 6.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 26.32% to Rs 558.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 441.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 24.47% to Rs 26.18 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 34.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 27.85% to Rs 2057.32 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1609.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
