APL Apollo Tubes standalone net profit rises 22.97% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 2.25% to Rs 828.37 crore

Net profit of APL Apollo Tubes rose 22.97% to Rs 16.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 13.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.25% to Rs 828.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 847.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 27.57% to Rs 39.33 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 30.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 3.88% to Rs 2879.38 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2995.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
