Apollo Tyres standalone net profit rises 15.46% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 4.86% to Rs 2131.66 crore

Net profit of Apollo Tyres rose 15.46% to Rs 210.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 182.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 4.86% to Rs 2131.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2240.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 32.15% to Rs 852.49 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 645.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.95% to Rs 8616.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 8878.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
