Asahi India Glass standalone net profit rises 22.75% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 9.36% to Rs 567.41 crore

Net profit of Asahi India Glass rose 22.75% to Rs 27.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 22.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.36% to Rs 567.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 518.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 93.73% to Rs 97.27 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 50.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.38% to Rs 2167.99 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2057.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
