Ashok Leyland consolidated net profit declines 60.22% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 21.78% to Rs 9882.39 crore

Net profit of Ashok Leyland declined 60.22% to Rs 140.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 352.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 21.78% to Rs 9882.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 8114.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 358.61 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against net loss of Rs 165.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 34.74% to Rs 26110.26 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 19377.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
