Ashok Leyland standalone net profit rises 273.75% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 24.83% to Rs 8703.33 crore

Net profit of Ashok Leyland rose 273.75% to Rs 901.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 241.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 24.83% to Rs 8703.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 6972.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 541.83 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against net loss of Rs 313.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 41.62% to Rs 21567.75 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 15229.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
