Asian Paints net profit rises 11.48% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 21.32% to Rs 2686.60 crore

Net profit of Asian Paints rose 11.48% to Rs 267.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 239.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 21.32% to Rs 2686.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 2214.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.34% to Rs 1169.06 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1050.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 15.60% to Rs 10300.22 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 8909.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
