Asian Paints standalone net profit rises 13.87% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 11.42% to Rs 3171.10 crore

Net profit of Asian Paints rose 13.87% to Rs 386.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 339.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.42% to Rs 3171.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2846.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 20.34% to Rs 1597.43 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1327.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.47% to Rs 12458.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 11485.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
