Asian Star Company net profit rises 65.04% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 28.43% to Rs 712.47 crore

Net profit of Asian Star Company rose 65.04% to Rs 13.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 7.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 28.43% to Rs 712.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 554.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 8.47% to Rs 40.74 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 37.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 7.92% to Rs 2288.25 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2120.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
