Asian Tea & Exports net profit rises 64.00% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 110.10% to Rs 23.30 crore

Net profit of Asian Tea & Exports rose 64.00% to Rs 0.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 110.10% to Rs 23.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 9.52% to Rs 0.57 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 9.21% to Rs 58.84 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 53.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
