Astec Lifesciences net profit declines 43.05% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 26.29% to Rs 41.98 crore

Net profit of Astec Lifesciences declined 43.05% to Rs 1.27 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 2.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 26.29% to Rs 41.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 56.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 45.12% to Rs 8.62 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 14.64% to Rs 189.47 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 165.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
