Aurobindo Pharma standalone net profit rises 21.02% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 15.53% to Rs 2334.25 crore

Net profit of Aurobindo Pharma rose 21.02% to Rs 407.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 337.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 15.53% to Rs 2334.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2020.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.81% to Rs 1619.67 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1516.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.28% to Rs 8922.38 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 8018.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
