Australia ASX200 falls 0.57% on U.S. tariffs woes
Capital Market Australian share market finished lower on Monday, 05 March 2018, as risk aversion selloff triggered on concerns over heightened global trade tensions after proposed US tariffs on steel and aluminium. Meanwhile, prospect of a hung parliament in Italy also knocked investor sentiment down. Most of ASX declined, with mining and financial stocks leading declines. The S&P/ASX 200 index fell 0.57%, or 33.90 points, to 5,895.0 at the close of trade.
