Australia Market closes 1.1% down
Capital Market Australian share market closed down on Thursday, 24 March 2016, dragged down by risk aversion selloff in financials and commodity-linked stocks, triggered by ANZ prediction of rise in bad debt charges and fall in commodity prices. At close of trade the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 was down 1.13%, or 58.10 points, to 5084.20. The broader All Ordinaries fell 1.01%, or 52.70 points, to 5151.60.
