Avenue Supermarts consolidated net profit rises 52.56% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 18.47% to Rs 7411.68 crore

Net profit of Avenue Supermarts rose 52.56% to Rs 413.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 271.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 18.47% to Rs 7411.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 6255.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 15.49% to Rs 1099.49 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 1301.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 2.92% to Rs 24143.06 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 24870.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
