Avon Mercantile net profit declines 27.27% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 4.17% to Rs 0.25 crore

Net profit of Avon Mercantile declined 27.27% to Rs 0.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 4.17% to Rs 0.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 18.87% to Rs 0.43 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 6.19% to Rs 1.03 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
