Bajaj Auto lost 1.74% to Rs 2,589.50 at 9:31 IST on BSE after the company said its total sales almost remained unchanged at 3.09 lakh units in November 2014 compared with 3.10 lakh units in November 2013.
The sales numbers were announced during market hours today, 2 December 2014.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 60.78 points or 0.21% at 28,498.84.
On BSE, so far 4,916 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 13,000 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 2,629.70 and a low of Rs 2,565 so far during the day.
Bajaj Auto's motorcycles sales declined 6% to 2.61 lakh units in November 2014 over November 2013. Sales of commercial vehicles surged 48% to 47,311 units in November 2014 over November 2013.
