Balaji Telefilms net profit declines 97.49% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 24.68% to Rs 39.61 crore

Net profit of Balaji Telefilms declined 97.49% to Rs 0.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 5.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 24.68% to Rs 39.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 31.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 24.83% to Rs 10.02 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 13.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 4.30% to Rs 129.20 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 135.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
