Balrampur Chini Mills standalone net profit rises 30.28% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 17.06% to Rs 770.60 crore

Net profit of Balrampur Chini Mills rose 30.28% to Rs 98.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 75.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 17.06% to Rs 770.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 658.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 99.42 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 57.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 7.71% to Rs 2756.67 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2986.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
