Bandhan Bank gets NCLT Kolkata approval for scheme of amalgamation

Bandhan Bank announced that the National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata Bench has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of GRUH Finance into and with the Bank on 27 September 2019. Certified copy of the order passed by the NCLT Kolkata is awaited.

National Company Law Tribunal, Bench at Ahmedabad (NCLT Ahmedabad) has already sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation and the certified copy of the order has been received by GRUH Finance.

The Scheme of Amalgamation will become effective upon the filing of the orders passed by both NCLT Kolkata and NCLT Ahmedabad with the respective jurisdictional Registrar of Companies.
