BEML net profit declines 25.14% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 30.11% to Rs 773.51 crore

Net profit of BEML declined 25.14% to Rs 63.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 85.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 30.11% to Rs 773.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1106.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 4.68 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 79.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 3.87% to Rs 2879.39 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2771.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
