BEML standalone net profit declines 8.45% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 21.03% to Rs 1001.53 crore

Net profit of BEML declined 8.45% to Rs 154.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 168.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 21.03% to Rs 1001.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1268.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 678.85% to Rs 52.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.49% to Rs 2956.62 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2776.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
