Bengal & Assam Company standalone net profit rises 47.26% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 22.55% to Rs 11.52 crore

Net profit of Bengal & Assam Company rose 47.26% to Rs 5.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4.02 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 22.55% to Rs 11.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 9.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.77% to Rs 22.98 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 20.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 25.32% to Rs 41.82 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 33.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
