Sales rise 3.13% to Rs 57.38 crore

Net loss of Bengal Tea & Fabrics reported to Rs 1.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 0.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 3.13% to Rs 57.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 55.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.34% to Rs 12.53 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 14.66% to Rs 245.13 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 213.78 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
