Bharat Bijlee standalone net profit declines 7.90% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 11.54% to Rs 290.10 crore

Net profit of Bharat Bijlee declined 7.90% to Rs 13.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 14.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 11.54% to Rs 290.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 260.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 42.90% to Rs 26.05 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 45.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 21.28% to Rs 731.05 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 928.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
