Bharat Electronics standalone net profit rises 6.32% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 21.97% to Rs 3835.20 crore

Net profit of Bharat Electronics rose 6.32% to Rs 791.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 744.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 21.97% to Rs 3835.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3144.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 18.38% to Rs 1547.62 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1307.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.65% to Rs 8296.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 7173.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
