Bharat Forge standalone net profit rises 25.32% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 11.31% to Rs 1125.66 crore

Net profit of Bharat Forge rose 25.32% to Rs 207.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 165.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 11.31% to Rs 1125.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1011.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 16.13% to Rs 585.07 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 697.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 10.83% to Rs 3864.67 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4333.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
