Bharat Gears reports net loss of Rs 1.51 crore in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 5.70% to Rs 103.12 crore

Net loss of Bharat Gears reported to Rs 1.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 1.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 5.70% to Rs 103.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 97.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 87.93% to Rs 0.60 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 6.96% to Rs 413.10 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 386.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
