Bharti Airtel consolidated net profit rises 2.79% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 8.45% to Rs 24959.60 crore

Net profit of Bharti Airtel rose 2.79% to Rs 1290.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1255.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.45% to Rs 24959.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 23015.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.80% to Rs 5484.20 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5183.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.88% to Rs 96532.10 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 92039.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
