Bharti Airtel net profit rises 89.96% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 12.02% to Rs 12936.50 crore

Net profit of Bharti Airtel rose 89.96% to Rs 2059.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1084.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.02% to Rs 12936.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11548.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 29.51% to Rs 6600.20 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5096.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 10.07% to Rs 49918.50 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 45350.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
