Bharti Infratel Ltd fell 2.7% today to trade at Rs 282.9. The S&P BSE Telecom index is down 0.88% to quote at 1040.35. The index is up 11.37 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd decreased 2.02% and Reliance Communications Ltd lost 0.87% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 37.06 % over last one year compared to the 5.05% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
